The Retrovirus Research Center’s goal is to promote and facilitate HIV /
AIDS research in Puerto Rico. The Center nucleates a group of
multidisciplinary researchers whose interests are to describe and understand
key elements that play a role in the progression and / or expression of HIV
infection from a biological, behavioral and psychosocial point of view.
Several projects are maintained under the Retrovirus Research Center’s
infrastructure. RRC studies the natural history of the HIV disease on an
individual, as well as on a collective basis. The Center aims are: |
